Adams County
West along Route 30.
Adams County sits west of York along Route 30, from Abbottstown and New Oxford to Gettysburg and down to Littlestown.
Many homes outside the boroughs run on private wells. When the power goes, so does the water. A standby generator keeps the well pump, the heat and the fridge going until the lines are back up.
